Established in 2005, the Manna from Devon Cooking School and Bed and Breakfast is run by Holly and David Jones.
We teach cooking skills to small groups in the relaxed environment of our Victorian home overlooking the beautiful River Dart in South Devon.
– You’ll find us relaxed, friendly and we’ll make you feel very much at home.
– Our school looks across the beautiful River Dart in the heart of South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
– Our small classes mean you get hands on practice and the group learns collaboratively together, not on individual work stations.
– We use the best ingredients from local suppliers with whom we have worked for over 10 years.
– We are experts in our own fields of cooking – wood fired ovens, bread making and fish cookery.
– We travel regularly to develop our own skills and find new recipes which we pass on to you along with tales of our travels.
– Our aim is always to build confidence and extend your skills, whatever your level of cooking.
– Don’t take our word for it. Read our reviews on Trip Advisor:

At Manna from Devon we run cooking classes which inspire and educate while building skills and confidence. The small number of students attending our cooking courses (typically a maximum of 6-8 people) means we can create a relaxed environment and allow everyone maximum hands on time.
We love the idea that our cooking school allows people to come together and share ideas and learn almost as much from each other as from us. Our informal classes deliberately encourage the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience.
We have small groups at the cooking school; classes are informal and a mixture of collaborative hands-on and teaching. Cooking together and learning from each other in a smaller group is much more fun in our world!
The area around the school has plenty of accommodation for every taste and budget. Vist our Accommodation page for more information.
