Called by some the Rolls Royce of firewood, this aromatic hardwood is very dense and extremely dry (less than 2% moisture) which means it burns at high temperatures for a long time and creates a great bed of embers as well as producing flavourful cooking smoke at lower, slower temperatures. Perfect for woodfired oven cooking and for barbeques.

We have been using it here at the woodfired cooking school and love it!

The wood comes from farms in Namibia where it is cleared by the farmers from dead trees or fallen branches.
